Jeanne Hilary is a photographer and transmedia designer based in Brooklyn.
She has worked for the United Nations, the City of Chicago, the City of Paris, the French Ministries of Culture, Foreign Affairs and Equipment. Her work has been published in Le Monde, Libération, l’Humanité, The Guardian, El Pais, La Repubblica, Newsweek, Time and the New York Times.
The monograph, La Plume et le Zinc, was published by Les Editions Hazan in 1998.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, at the Centre Pompidou, the Palais de Tokyo and the Musée Carnavalet in Paris, the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago, the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art in New York, and is included in public and private collections.
